LOGIC 1 OR LOGIC 0 ?

It is really funny the way life teaches you its lessons. It is so ironical that once “impossible situations” now seem like nothing-nothing that required so much of worrying. We have faced situations when we thought this was it, it was the end.

But the fact that you are reading this blog right now, with a smile on your face, reminiscing of those times can’t be a better proof of what I am saying here.

If you don’t believe me, check your heart, its still beating. Better still, look yourself in the mirror- yeah! That’s the smile I am talking about.

Today, life taught me an interesting lesson-something that I been studying about for the last six years, but never realized it.

Being a student of digital electronics, I would explain it in the technical jargon.
The world of digital electronics lies only on this basic concept- Logic 1 & Logic 0.
The most universal explanation of it would be a switch. It can either be ON (Logic 1).
Or it can be OFF (Logic 0). No two ways about it. No middle path exists there.

So, you can either be happy or sad. You can either be sane or mad! (Hey, it rhymes!).
You can be alive or dead. The choice is YOURS. It is what you decide to choose.

Today, I realized that when facing life or rather living life, it is I who decide whether to be happy or not. Whatever circumstances life may show or to wherever it may lead me, the decision to be happy or cringe about it is entirely mine. And know what, I even realized today that it is easier to smile through it. For I was cribbing over something that I have no control over. This thought immediately made me realize my foolishness, and pop came the grin – out of nowhere!

Like they say: “The world is your sky,

Just spread your wings and fly”.

Hi Devang,

Very well said. Its all in the mind. And like they say.. Laugh, and world smiles with you, and Cry, and you realise you are crying alone. So Keep smiling through thick and thin, and in the end you'll realise you are "One happy soul."

Devang this is a very interesting topic. But the idea of comparing Human emotions to an ON-OFF switch is something that I find to be nothing but utter rubbish.

HEHAHAHA…and…..Now I am going to systematically destroy your theory of logic 1 and 0 being applied to human emotion.

I will tell you the story of my closest friend David. An engineering student who almost always acted in a frivolous manner. Now David was very proud of the fact that he had never fallen for a girl in his entire life. He used to boost about this fact all the time. And suddenly one fine day the unthinkable and the inevitable happened. David fell for a girl and has been miserable ever since. She is the first thought of the day when he gets out of his bed and also his last. He tells me that his feelings are now beyond him and he has little control over his emotions. I never thought that Dav would see this day..hehe.

Now I wonder Mr.Devang which switch or logic should he use to control his emotions. If your theory of logic had been right then life would have been so much more simpler for all of us. Unfortunately,”Ye emotions hai, kabhi logic he nahi samaghte.”

It doesn’t matter if you a re a student of digital electronics. You did not listen when our very respectable profs had asked us to refer foreigner authors for digital electronics. You studied from Katre ka book instead of using Boylstead and now you are serving us with all this rubbish……...hahaha.

Hey Devang……sorry yaar……..just couldn’t resist pulling your leg…..hope you will forgive me for trying to increase your height.

SORRY SORRY SORRY SORRY………..and yes david is a hypothetical character.

The fact of the matter is that human emotions need a certain amount of gestation period to recover from a grave loss or tragedy. And I completely agree with you in the sense that we almost always recover from situations of great difficulty. Some of those difficult situations have now been transformed into some what of a pleasant memory for me. I completely understand what you intend to convey.

I like this subject so very much that I will surely come up with a different take on this same topic.

@ SIBIN.

thanks for your comments.i appreciate it.criticism is welcome for sure!

i accept that rough patches are a part of life, like something your friend encountered.but what i am saying here is that one can always look at them in the positive or a negative manner.if you look at the negative aspect, then you make your life miserable.if you look at the positive aspect, well, then there can be no better learning experience than that!for a diamond can never shine until its polished.
take life as a wonderful learning experience -in any situation.
like they say:"Pain is inevitable, Suffering is optional". the choice is YOURS.thats what i meant by logic 0 or logic 1.

Devang Devang Devang!!! Imagine that david's girl friend dies in a in a car accident.

Now is he going to himself that,"pain is inevitable and suffering is optional".

The point is :- pain is what causes suffering. He will always feel the pain and will always suffer. But time will heal the deepest wound.

boss, i agree to you till some point.
But to move out of pain, without suffering is very difficult. but yes if taken things in positive sense the world really seems different, greener, brighter and shinig...

well since u were in batch II ask devin about it.

there was an expert baba who claimed that vcc n gnd were both at the same spot on the pcb.
i hope u guessed who that babba is.

well if u ask me i am speechless.

i mean this is not only a good written stuff this is " logic "
